Sagaing Division Imapin Township, On May 28, Ko Htwe, a member of the militia, died of hand grenade injuries inside his home at around 8:00 a.m. on May 28 in Aung Zeya Tugone (locally known as Pheon Akengone) near the Monywa-Pathein road junction, according to sources.
The deceased is the son of former military officer Colonel Thein Zaw Win and a member of the militia.
“When the husband and wife were fighting, the man pointed a gun and the woman shot back with a grenade,” the source said.
